I'm a wife, mother of four, and a photographer with a passion for capturing real moments. Raised in Kailua, Hawaii, I've called Idaho home for 20 years.
For the past 8 years, I've specialized in family and wedding photography in the Boise area. My goal is to document your story- the love, laughter, and the in-between moments that will be cherished for generations.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me spending time with my family, boating, wake surfing, skiing, or out with my dog, Molly. I love sunshine, fitness, and spending alone time with my husband Cameron.
I'm so glad you are here- I'd love to connect and tell your story!
I was raised in Hawaii and moved to Idaho for college (talk about a change!). I got married to my college sweetheart, Cameron, and we decided to stay in Idaho. It turned out to be the best place to raise our family! In 2014 I got my first camera, a Canon 70D. I quickly discovered that photography was my true passion in life! My hobby turned into a business in 2020.

"My husband and I chose Julia for our elopement and we are SO HAPPY that we did. Julia isn’t an average photographer, she has exceptional talent and an artistic eye. She made our photos look stunning, and she is very good at directing you so that you get the best possible pictures. If I ever need another photoshoot, I will fly out to wherever Julia is!"

Classic Wedding Day
They say rain on your wedding day means good luck…
If that’s true, then I’d say Josh and Monica are one very lucky couple because it rained all day on their wedding!
But the weather didn’t dampen their spirits one bit. Their joy was contagious and their wedding celebration was unforgettable.
Brinley and Braden’s love story was celebrated over two incredible days! Day one was their beautiful wedding at High Desert Station in Star. The next day, they were sealed in the Boise Idaho Temple, surrounded by loved ones.

Joyful celebration of Erika and Cole's wedding at the White Barn in Emmett, ID.
Erika and Cole’s day couldn’t have been more perfect! Loved capturing all the unique details from her dress sleeves, disk golf-themed favors, to the birthday cake (instead of a wedding cake!).

The whole day was full of laughter, love, and energy. Can’t ask for a better wedding day celebrating these two!

"Julia followed the platinum rule because we felt like she really listened to us and gave us the no-fuss elopement we wanted. We have nothing but good memories of the day and now have beautiful pictures to remember and pass down to our family for years."
